Haitian American Alliance COVID-19 Task Force
Our Haitian American nonprofit organization responded to the devastating impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Because it affected a disproportionate number of minority communities, we formed the Haitian American COVID-19 Task Force. It unifies professionals from multiple disciplines and several community-based organizations under one umbrella. The goal is to support those most in need and address medical, psychological, and social areas of concern. The task force has mobilized a broad-based group of expert volunteers, faith and community-based organizations, political and union leaders to educate, and mitigate the inequities exposed by the pandemic.
